Hi, I'm Vanessa.

I draw the inspiration for my photographs from the quiet, often-overlooked spaces close to my home in southwestern Ontario, Canada. Through my images, I explore themes of beauty, memory, wonder, and renewal in the most ordinary of places, but especially among the trees or at the water’s edge. Self-taught, I enjoy wandering my neighbourhoods, practicing the art of noticing.
